"Nothing in life is to be feared. It is only to be understood.
Now is the time to understand more, so that we may fear less."

About Me
Since October 2025, I am a permanent junior researcher at the Inria center of the University of Bordeaux (France) working in the CARDAMOM group leaded by Mario Ricchiuto.
In July 2020, I successfully defended my Ph.D. thesis in Applied Mathematics, entitled “Numerical characterization of complex materials and vibro-acoustic systems” at the University of A Coruña in Spain, under the supervision of Prof. Andrés Prieto. In 2020, I was working as a researcher at the University of Santiago the Compostela (Spain) in the group of Prof. Alfredo Bermúdez. In 2021, I was working as a postdoc at the University of Trento (Italy) within the group of Prof. Michael Dumbser. In January 2022, I was awarded a competitive postdoctoral fellowship, “Margarita Salas”, which enabled me to continue my research at the University of Trento (Italy). From March 2023 to September 2025, I was an Assistant Professor at the University of Trento in Italy.
Research Topics:
- High-order accurate and structure-preserving numerical methods for partial differential equations: developing and analyzing advanced numerical schemes, such as discontinuous Galerkin, finite volume and finite element methods.
- Aplications: multiphase flows, Navier-Stokes, MHD, solid mechanics, and acoustics.
- High-performance computing: Implementing efficient algorithms for large-scale simulations using MPI, OpenMP and CUDA.
